Privacy & Cookies

A short, plain-English explanation of how this website handles information.

Who we are

This website belongs to Torfaen Salvage, Polo Grounds, New Inn, Pontypool, Torfaen NP4 0TW. You can reach us on 01495 752259.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies of its own, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies or trackers.

Google Maps

The Contact page includes an embedded Google Map so you can find the yard. When you open that page, your browser connects to Google to load the map, so Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. We do not control this. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. If you would rather not load the map, you can avoid the Contact page and use the “Get directions” link or our address instead.

Information we collect

There is no contact form, account or newsletter on this website, so we do not collect personal details through it. Our web host keeps standard technical server logs (for example IP address, pages requested and time) for security and to keep the site running.

When you phone or visit

If you phone or visit the yard, we use any details you give us only to deal with your enquiry or order.

Your rights and questions

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by phoning us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
